Product Sales Consultant
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in working with industrial automation and information systems. Experience with industrial information systems is a key background that is generally more important than the industrial automation background.

Education/Training :
Bachelor or masters degree in engineering or science (or equivalent practical experience)/MBA would be an added advantage Having worked with a Workflow product would be an added advantage

Product Focus :
ArchestrA Workflow and Manufacturing BPM REGION FOCUS: EURA, MEA & APAC
Requirement:
** Sales skills – must understand the sales process and the roles in the sales team.
** Presentation skills – be able to plan, develop and deliver presentations so that it generates the effect that the sales team is trying to achieve. It is important to be able to think under pressure and answer questions from a demanding audience in real time.
** General engineering skills – the sales consultant will always be viewed as the semi-technically skilled part of the sales team.

Preferred Additional Skills/Knowledge/ Experience :
** Experience in designing and implementing industrial information and automation system based on requirements set by business needs. The experience must include a combination of technical work and customer interaction.
** Wonderware Product experience (MES, IntelaTrac, …)
** Past Experience with working on a workflow products like Ultimus, GE Proficy, Cordys, … would be an added advantage
** Ability to understand customer needs on a business level – listen to the customer, discuss the business needs with the account manager; create a common understanding of what business problems the customer is trying to solve.

Position Summary :
The primary objective of the Sales consultant is to enable the distribution channel and direct sales to generate sales of ArchestrA Workflow and Manufacturing BPM.

Sales consultant would pro-actively engage with :
** SI’s and Distributors Sales team to identify potential prospects for Workflow and engage with the customer along with them.
** CSE’s and ECE’s to introduce the product to their Key Customers.
** Proposal Creation team to educate them about the product and continuously evangelize them to use the product as part of the proposal.
** Industry solutions and Business Value Sales team to position the Workflow product for their Enterprise Customers

The consultant is a sales person with industry and product knowledge.

The primary objective of the sales consultants is to increase sales by transferring knowledge. It is important to remember that the Product Sales consultant’s job is to sell and to support the sales process.

This is a quota-carrying role and the success would be measured in terms of the revenues influences for ArchestrA Workflow Product, Manufacturing BPM and Services.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
** Enable the distribution, SI’s and direct sales channel to sell.
** Transfer product and domain knowledge to the channel and direct sales.
** Gain product and domain knowledge.
** Frequently interacts with key contacts in each of the regions (Direct & Indirect Sales), customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a sales or project team.

External relationships : Distributor system consultants and their management, Distributor account managers, System integrators, End users / customers

Internal relationships: Direct Sales Team, System consultant group, Functional product managers, Product marketing managers, Training Team , Skelta Technical Support, Solution consultants, Regional sales managers, Bid Managers, CSE and ECE Team, Consulting Services Team
