Job Description
We are looking for Database Admin for one of our projects with the Petroleum Development of Oman. (PDO)
The candidate will be responsible for
1. Managing TMS related tasks and activities for PDO including software and applications like java, Oracle Database, Informatica; Ability to create reports
2. Design, Configuration & Implementation of business activities on the Transport Management System at PDO including daily business support and managing application upgrades using project/module management
3. Planning and implementing PDO-TMS related new business initiatives through innovation & new business requirements as per the 4PL business operational model
4. This is a customer interfacing role and hence written and oral communication must be fluent and with business orientation

Desired Profile
The candidate should have:
3+yrs of relevant experience
Experience in Oracle Databases, SQL, Data Modeling, Java, C++, VB, Reporting tools and Oracle Financial module support.
Should have knowledge of Databases, IT Architectures and configuration of application servers and web servers.
Should have expertise in IT Infrastructure support, Application Support & Maintenance

Title : Design &Implementation of pc operated Flying Robot.

Description : This project Design and Implementation of PC operated robot will be used to control the robot using the PC from the remote location using the zigbee based wireless communication protocol.
This zigbee will be used for network communication with the other zigbees with low power consumption. By this method we can easily control the multiple flying robots very easily. The process of communication will be through wireless system. So in order to control the flying machine we are using PC, by pressing the code keys the machine can be operated. This project is helpful for monitoring the different areas using the camera attached to the flying robot.
