DIRECT REDUCTION IRON CO. LTD., DAMMAM The process of DRI making aims to remove oxygen from iron ore Pellets/ Lumps. Granulated mixtures are 18 :18:10, 20:20:10, 20:20:0. The raw material required are Urea, DAP, SSP, Potash, and Dolomite etc.

NAME : “HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN FLUIDIZED BED DRYER”
Drying is nothing but removal of moisture by evaporation. Now day’s different types of dryers are used; e.g. tray dryers, agitated pan dryers, drum dryers etc.
The faster the product is dried the better is its rehydration quality.
In this context fluidized bed dryer facilities the excellent rate of the heat and mass transfer between the material to be dried and the surrounding air, which results in shorter residence time of drying.
