Job Description
-Preparation of Distribution diagrams of Utilities
-Preparation of inter-connection diagrams based on Process/Utility P&IDs.
-Pipe sizing, i.e. thickness calculation, Pressure Drop calculation, insulation sizing etc.
-Preparation of Equipment and Piping Layout.
-Nozzle Orientation diagram and Vessel Trim piping.
-Preparation/Checking of Piping Isometrics and MTO.
-Pipe Stress Analysis Static and Dynamic using CAESER II software.
-Preparation of Piping Material specifications, estimation, bill of quantities and data sheets for valves & specialties.
-Preparation of Piping General Specification
-Vendor Drawing Review
-Technical Bid Evaluation
-Coordinate with clients, sub consultants & other departments independently
-Must have handled at least 2-3 projects independently
-Provide technical guidance to drafting and junior engineering personnel and co-ordinate design and drafting work within assigned areas
-Make calculations and conduct analyses and studies as necessary to complete design work.

Desired Profile
Should have worked in different aspects of piping design which includes piping studies and equipment layout, 3D modeling and development & pipe support standards.
Good Knowledge of Piping codes and standards like ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI, MSS, IS, BS, DIN etc.
Hands on expertise with 2D softwares like AUTOCAD, Microstation etc.
Knowledge of 3D modeling with softwares like AUTOPLANT, PDS, PDMS, conducting model review and extraction of GADS, Isometrics & MTO sessions. Administrative knowledge for customisation of piping specifications and utilities like ISOGEN etc. shall be of added advantage.
Excellent communication skills, Leadership skills, highly motivated and technical expertise in industrial design field
Willingness to travel within & outside India will be preferred.
