Scholarships & Stipend
The various facilities are being provided to the students in order to encourage educational habits of the children as per time to time decision and programs of the Govt. Of India.

Attendance Scholarship for Girls
The aim of this incentive is to enroll maximum girls students in Chandigarh. Under this scheme, a girl student is given an attendance scholarship @ Rs.30/- P.M. for 10 months in a year from class Ist to Vth provided she has completed 75% attendance in a month. An Incentive of approximately Rs.1.50 lacs was disbursed to the 515 girl students under this scheme during 2005-06 and same amount has been proposed during the current financial year 2006-07.

Scholarship to SC/ST students
This incentive is granted to ensure enrolment of all SC/ST students in the age group of 6-14 years i.e. studying in Ist to 8th classes in all the Government Schools of UT, Chandigarh. All the SC/ST students (Boys and Girls) who have secured at least 60% attendance or above on total No. of working days during the period of Ist April to 30th September every year are eligible for the benefit under above scheme. A sum of approximately Rs.1.65 lacs was disbursed to the 554 students under above scheme during 2005-06 and same amount has been proposed for SC/ST students during the current financial year 2006-07.

Girls Attendance Scholarship upto Class V
A Girls Student is given an attendance Scholarship @ Rs. 30/- Per Month for 10 Months in a Year from Class 1st to 5th provided her attendance is 75% in a month. Under this scheme 515 Girls were covered during last academic session i.e.,2005-2006. During the current academic year Chd.Admn. has made a provision of Rs.1.50 lacs for the said object.

Talent Scholarship
This scholarship is admissible to the meritorious SC/ST students who have passed class 5th examination from Non Model Schools and cannot pursue the studies further due to financial hardship. this benefits will be extended to the students upto Class 8th. Under this scheme 150 to 200 students are benefited.

Free Education to all Students
No Fees & Funds are being charged from any student Studying upto Class 8th. in Government Schools. Approximately 85000 Students are getting free education.

Free Education to Girls Students
No Tuition Fees is Charged from the Girls Students of classes 9th to 12th. Approximately 12000 Girls will be benefited under this scheme.

1) - Worked as a VOCATIONAL COUNSELOR, WITH REGIONAL SPINAL INJURY CENTERE
- As a counselor I WAS MEETING WITH SPINAL INJURY PATIENTS GIVING COUNSELING TO THEIR FAMILY, HELPING THEM HOW TO COPE UP WITH THE STRESS.
