    Please note:
    (a) Ten minutes extra-time will be allowed from 8.50 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. to read the question paper only. The Officers-in-Charge will arrange distribution of question papers accordingly.
    (b)Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Nepali, Khasi, Garo, Mizo, Hmar and Urdu.
    (c) There will be single question papers consisting of New Course and Old Course. There will be no Old Course contents viz, 2006-2007 of Assamese MIL and Bengali MIL. Unsuccessful candidates of 2006-2007 under Old Course will have to appear in the HSLC/ AHM Examination, 2012 as private candidate under Old Course. There will be separate Question Papers
    of the subjects Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu MIL for High Madrassa candidates having 50 marks.
    (d)Elective Languages (Time: 3 hrs) & In lieu Languages (Time: 2 hrs): There will be common question paper with Groups A and B for each language (viz--Assamese4, Bengali4, Hindi4, Bodo4, Manipuri4 and Santali) irrespective of elective or lieu language. Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the groups A & B and candidates offering Lieu languages (for all private candidates prior to 2009 and all Regular and Private candidates of Dima Hasao and Karbi Anglong
    districts) will have to appear in the group A only which will be treated as Assamese3 (A3), Bengali3 (B3), Hindi3 (H3), Bodo3 (D3), Manipuri3 (M3) and Santali3 (S3) respectively.
    (e) Practical Examinations:-Practical Examination in Fine Art shall be held in the same Examination centre from where the candidates will appear for all other subjects. There shall be no separate venues for Fine Art Practical Examination. Fine Art practical is a drawing based Examination of 60 marks for both Old course and New course candidates. Internal Assessment Marks of English, General Mathematics have been enhanced from 10 to 20 w.e.f. HSLC/AHM Examination, 2012. There will be no Practical Examination in Geography. Instead of Geography Practical Examination, there will be Internal Assessment Marks of 20 like G.M., Eng, and G. Sc. The Internal Assessment Marks of Eng, G.M., G. Sc. and Geography for all Regular candidates and New Course Private candidates and Grades of Environmental Science of all categories of candidates are to be submitted by the schools/madrassas to their respective Officers-in-charge of Examination centre. The Officers-in-charge will send the mark foils of Internal Assessment and Grades of Environmental Science directly to Secretary, SEBA. These should not be despatched to Evaluation Zone along with Answer Scripts. The Officers–in-charge of the centres concerned are requested to inform the candidates about the venues of Practical Examinations of other subjects during the period of theory
