JOIN INDIAN AIR FORCE – BECOME AN AIRMAN RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR GROUP ‘Y’ (NON-TECHNICAL) TRADES : {FOR AUTO TECH AND IAF (P)} AT 11 AIRMEN SELECTION CENTRE, BORJHAR, GUWAHATI (ASSAM) FROM 13 MARCH 2012 TO 18 MARCH 2012
1. Indian Air Force offers opportunities for unmarried male Indian citizens from the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura to become an airman. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades :{For Auto Technician and Indian Air Force (Police)} will be held at 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) from 13 March 2012 to 18 March 2012 as per the Selection Programme given below.
2. SELECTION PROGRAMME. The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards every day as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
The Recruitment Test is not for selection as Officers/Pilots/Navigators. DATE STREAM / ACTIVITIES DISTRICTS TO BE COVERED
13 March 2012 Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Auto Tech and IAF (P)} trades.
14 March 2012 Interview & Medical Examination of candidates passed Written Test & PFT on 13 March 2012.
ALL DISTRICTS OF STATE OF MANIPUR, MIZORAM AND TRIPURA
15 March 2012 Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Auto Tech and IAF (P)} trades.
16 March 2012 Interview & Medical Examination of candidates passed Written Test & PFT on 15 March 2012.
ALL DISTRICTS OF STATE OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH, ASSAM, MEGHALAYA AND NAGALAND
17 & 18 March 2012 RESERVE DAYS
AGE LIMIT : Candidate should be born between 01 January 1991 and 31 March 1995 (both days inclusive).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades {For Auto Tech and IAF (P)} Passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
OR
03 years Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.
PUBLISHING OF AISL : The All India Select List (AISL) will be displayed at No. 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) on 30 April 2012. A copy of the Display List will be sent to District Magistrate of Guwahati (Assam) (through Airmen Selection Centre) and also available at Indian Air Force website indianairforce.nic.in. The inclusion of names of the candidates in the AISL depends upon the performance of the candidates in the Selection Test.

You need to qualify on three counts:
1) Age
2) Education
3) Domicile

a canditate have vocational certificate on electretion from w.b borad carry ing marks 65% but he carry 34% marks in 10+2 calss can i fillup the group Y catagery exam from.
please, give kind information.
(i) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(ii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iii) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(iv) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(v) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vi) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments.
Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Sir this is shankar from karnataka . I have doubt whether this test will be only for karnataka boys or not. Send me the details of this and tell me if karnataka candidates are allowed. Where do we have to send the application form?

I have been selected in Indian air force as a airmen{auto-tech} and iaf{p} in march at guwahati borjhar 2012 and my roll number is the main list. It is almost nine months already but still I have not received my appointment letter.
