Engineering Mechanics: Free body diagrams and equilibrium; trusses and frames;
virtual work; kinematics and dynamics of particles and of rigid bodies in plane
motion, including impulse and momentum (linear and angular) and energy
formulations; impact .........

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
Network graph, KCL, KVL, node and mesh analysis, transient response of dc and ac
networks; sinusoidal steady-state analysis, resonance, basic filter concepts; ideal
current and voltage sources, Thevenin’s, Norton’s and Superposition and Maximum
Power Transfer theorems, two-port networks, three phase circuits.........

ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Small Signal Equivalent circuits of diodes, BJTs MOSFETs and analog CMOS.
Simple diode circuits, clipping, clamping, rectifier. Biasing and bias stability of
transistor and FET amplifiers. Amplifiers: single-and multi-stage, differential and
operational, feedback, and power. Frequency response of amplifiers. Simple op-amp
