AIPMT 2012 - Correction in the Application Form

Instructions
[LIST][*]Corrections in the application form will be allowed through online Authentication process. Any registered candidate, who wants to carry out corrections is required to enter system generated Registration No (as given on confirmation page), his/her Name, Date of Birth & Mother’s name, which will be validated from the data available in the system, before allowing access to make corrections.[/LIST]
Changes not allowed
[LIST][*]Change of request for Prelimanary Examination Centre and Final Examination Centre will not be allowed.[*]Changes in Question Paper Medium and Choice of Counselling centers are not allowed.[/LIST]

The candidates of AIPMT-2012 can avail A ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY to correct their particulars in the on-line Application submitted by them on the website of the CBSE www.aipmt.nic.in. This facility shall be available during the period 1st February to 24th February, 2012.
Correction in City of Centre/ Choice of Counselling Centre/ Qusetion Paper Medium are not allowed.

After correction, the candidates may print correction slip and retain the same with them for reference and record.

Due to correction of Category/ Sub-Category by the candidate, if additional fee is payable, the correction slip along with Demand Draft for balance amount drawn in favour of the Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi be sent to

THE MENTIONED PHOTO SIZE WAS 3.5X4.5, BUT THE SIZE OF THE BOX MENTIONED IN THE APPLICATION FORM WAS 4X4, SO I AFFIXED 4X4 PHOTO SIZE. WILL THERE BE ANY PROBLEM REGARDING THIS?

Candidates are advised to take 8-10 passport size photograph with white background and one post card size (3½”x5”) photograph. Passport size photographs are to be used to affix on Computer
Generated Application Form (Confirmation Page) and for Counselling/Admission. Post Card size photograph will be collected from candidates by Centre Superintendent at Centre during AIPMT-Final
Examination. Before affixing photograph on Conformation Page candidate must write down his/her name, Application Form number and Contact Number on the reverse side of both the photographs with
Ball point pen only. Affix two recent good quality colour STUDIO photographs with white background, one attested and the other unattested in the space earmarked for these in the Confirmation Page. The
photographs must be taken on or after 01.12.2011 indicating clearly the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph as shown below. Photograph should not have cap or goggles.

Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER generated photos are not acceptable. The photograph should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or by a Gazetted Officer in such a way that half the signature of the attesting officer should appear on the photograph and the remaining on the Application Form. Attestation should be done at the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced.

The photograph should be firmly affixed to the Application Form by gum/fevicol and should not be pinned or stapled. Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected. Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph affixed is fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seems to be hand-made or
computer made, the form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair means practices and candidate would accordingly be dealt with the rules of unfair means.

sir,
i tried my heart out but still not able to carry out my corrections in my aipmt form. i have no idea what to do right now. please suggest me something as soon as possible. i am very tensed about it.

You must be making some mistake or there must be a bug in the process.
You have not detailed what is the problem you are facing. Unless somebody is physically present with you, I dont think this problem can be solved. I would suggest you take the help of a learned / educated person with you while trying to do the correction
