Responsible for Site security operations, managing critical situations, management of contractual manpower, administration of events, investigation of accidents/incidents, security risk assessment, preparing reports and implementing security systems.
Take mustering of guards in site with coordination of security officers
Coordinate with deployed officers at Main gate, Various points.
Secure Site from over speeding vehicles, Spillage, violation of rules, pilferage, wrong parking, and any security violations.
Enforce compliance to safety.
Take traffic control measures to ensure smooth traffic flow, Clear traffic Jams
Take control of situation during fire incidents, Unruly Mobs, Labour unrest and take prevention measures. Ensure planned security manpower strength availability and their deployment through contractual agency, Send contractual security staff attendance daily
Interview and short list contractual manpower for security posts
Co-ordinate security functions and arrangements on special events (15th August and 26th January)
Prepare annual budget & prepare MIS.
Operate and Maintain security equipment
Investigate accidents and theft cases and submit reports
Review periodically security functions/potential threats
Conduct risk/threat assessment analysis and mitigation plans
Develop security intelligence network for power business continuity
Prepare Daily Security activities and reports
Prepare monthly security activities report
Update/process SAP,BSC time to time
Ensure adherence to safety norms in security duties and during the rounds
Train the staff for security preparedness to meet the security emergencies
Any other duties/work that may be assigned by the management from time to time
Knowledge of crisis management, investigation and report making, prompt in vigilance, independent handling of shift duties, Material management, access control, men management etc.
