Job Title: Senior Engineer / Team Lead

Qualification: BE/BTECH // ME/METCH – EEE /Power System

Experience: 3-10 years

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To handle power system consultancy assignment. The engineer must have proficiency of at least two power system stimulation software tools & studies (Load flow studies, short circuit studies, Transient stability studies, Relay co-ordination, and EMTP studies). Exposure to other software tools preferred

** Needs to have awareness & handle complete process of consulting assignment which involves project preparatory note, data collection, analysis, customer interaction & logical conclusion of the projects.
** Lead the team of engineers for the large consultancy assignments
** Planning the activities prior to commencing of projects including action plan, assistance required (both internal as well as external) travel & other logistics for completing the assignment within the targeted date.
** Interaction with clients for data collections, clarifications & follow-ups on projects
** Approaching consultants /experts for required guidance with in PRDC for successful completion of projects.
** Undertake lectures in the area of proficiency
** Mentor the trainees, Engineers
** Regular updates/MIS within the team & PM
** Payment follow-up
** Need to be the main point of contact for the projects handled
** Training as & when required.
** Any other activities as assigned by management

ACCOUNTABILITIES
** Understand the project requirement, expectations from the client, deliverable of the project before commencing the projects.
** Capability of handling multiple projects & teams
** Planning the projects based on the requirements, techno-commercial offer/PO & project duration
** Handle complete responsibilities of data collection, data validation, modeling in stimulation tool analysis & report preparation
** Customer interaction for discussion on the technical queries
** Co-ordination with relevant teams / experts for acquiring the knowledge on the new areas & transfer the knowledge to the other members of P.S.S team.
** Preparation of technical documents on the specialized work undertook during the course of assignment
** Keep abreast with the latest developments in the sector and dissemination of them with the team and participate in the technical discussion
** Create/lead working group in the area of proficiency and conduct regular interaction program
** Needs to attend all the meetings accordingly.
** Interaction with in the team & customer for multiple projects assigned.
** Needs to mentor, guide, mould & build the team
** Team motivation
** Regular payment follow-up action & collection of respective payments
