ANNOUNCE ADMISSIONS FOR EIGHTH BATCH OF POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION(PROXIMATE EDUCATION)(2012)
Arrears in the courts and legal delays have been the concern of everyone. Mediation, Conciliation, Arbitration and Negotiation can help resolution of disputes quickly, simultaneously reduce the arrears and delays in the courts, besides costs. The Supreme Court and the High Courts in our country are actively encouraging adoption of these methods. This development has created a need and demand for professionally trained Mediators, Conciliators and Arbitrators.

The ICADR recognized by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh has been imparting training in ADR methods in collaboration with NALSAR University of Law through the Post Graduate Diploma in ADR (Proximate Education). It has a comprehensive syllabus designed by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. It includes Simulation Exercises and Contact Classes. So far it has successfully completed 7 Batches. After the completion of the course, the successful candidates will be awarded P.G.Diplomas by NALSAR University of Law. They can then be employed by the courts for the purpose of Section 89 of CPC, besides practising independently.

The minimum eligibility for the diploma is Graduation. Admissions are now open for the eighth batch for the academic year 2012. Contact Classes will be held at Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and other places depending upon the availability of minimum number of candidates.

Interested candidates may obtain the Prospectus-cum-Application Form from the Secretary, ICADR, 10th Floor, Gaganvihar Building, Opp: Gandhi Bhavan, M.J. Road, Hyderabad–500001(Ph. No. 040-24745165 / 24731514 / 24653892/ 24657588), by payment of Rs.250/- either in cash or by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of ICADR payable at Hyderabad. The application form duly filled in should be submitted to ICADR on or before 20th January, 2012.
Last date for submission of filled-in application forms extended upto 20th February, 2012.
