B.Sc. Nautical Science
Approved by The Directorate General of Shipping,Government of India. Leading to Second Mate’s Foreign-Going Certificate of Competency awarded by the D.G. Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India aftertwelve months of Sea Service. This enables the cadets to become Navigating Officers on board Merchant NavyShips worldwide.

1. Course Duration: 3 years or 6 semesters residential course.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: A pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group and at least 50% marks in English.

Age: Below 25 years at the time of commencement of the course.
Gender: Boys and Girls are eligible to apply

3. Medical Standard: Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6 in better eye, 6/9 in other eye and with no colour blindness.

4. Mode of Selection:
Written/Personal/Medical Examination

B.E. Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering
1. Course Duration: 4 years or 8 semester’s

Qualification: A Pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 50% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group and 55% marks in English from recognized Board.
Age: Below 25 years at the time of commencement of the course.
Gender: Boys and Girls are eligible to apply

2. Medical Standard: Candidates must undergo Medical test for Physical fitness.

3. Mode of Selection:
Written/Personal/Medical Examination
Admission Test / personal Interview AIEEE / JEE students will be given preference

4. Lateral Entry:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine engineering, Naval Architecture, I year Engineering completed students from above branches, BSc Maths and Physics with 60% Marks. Good Communication and Writing skills in English.

Mode of selection:
Admission Test / personal Interview AIEEE / JEE students will be given preference
