COMPUTER PROFICIENCY : - Operating Systems : Windows 7, XP, 2003. - Applications : Ms Office, DTP, Origin plot software and excellent internet skill KEY SKILLS : - Research work : I have synthesized low cost zeolitic material from environmentally detrimental bagasse fly ash using alkaline hydrothermal and fusion method for the removal of phenols from simulated water. Materials were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy, Powder X-ray diffraction, X-ray Fluorescence, Thermal Analysis, Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET) etc. instrumental techniques. Used numbers of isotherms and kinetics studies to express the sorption mechanism of phenols on synthesized zeolitic materials.
- During my two years of M.Sc., I studied modern instrumental techniques like UV-Visible, FTIR, NMR, Mass spectroscopy, solvent extraction, Electro analytical methods, Atomic absorption spectroscopy, separation methods like GC, HPLC, TLC, Ion exchange chromatography, X-ray methods, radio chemical methods of analysis, Thermal methods of analysis etc. in theory and with little practical training. I can operate all kind of modern analytical instruments.
