2.2 Minimum Qualification for admission (PG Degree / Diploma Courses) :
(i) The candidate must have passed the M.B.B.S. examination from this University.
(ii) The candidate should have obtained full registration i.e., they should have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory rotatory internship after passing the final M.B.B.S. Examination and should have full registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Counci

2.4 Method of Selection :
A Common Admission Test (MCQ Type) will be held for the admission to Postgraduate Degree / Diploma Courses in various specialities.
The minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for Counselling shall be 50% in the Admission Test.

2.5 Counselling :
(i) There will be Counselling for admission to Post Graduate Courses in different subjects. The subject of choice shall be allotted by the Counselling Committee on the basis of merit of the candidate determined after the Postgraduate Medical Admission Test.
(ii) The selected candidates of PG Medical Admission Test appearing for Counselling will be required to fill a Proforma.
(iii) Candidates shall appear before the Counselling Committee in person.

2.6 Condition for Leaving the Course :
(i) If a candidate admitted to the Postgraduate Degree / Diploma Course leaves the Course after final couselling, he / she shall not be eligible to appear at the Postgraduate Medical Admission Test conducted by AMU and will also not be eligible for admission to Postgraduate Courses consecutively for next three years, and shall have to refund the money in full received by him / her in the form of stipend.
(ii) Penalty : A candidate who, after admission to PG Courses, leaves before completion of the Courses, he/she will have to pay Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) as received by him / her as stipend.

2.7 M. Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive
Surgery) - 2012
There shall be negative scoring in the Admission Test of M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) Course.
Course of Study : M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)
Duration : 3 Years
Intake : As per MCI norms.
Eligibility : Medical Graduate holding the Degree of M.S. (General Surgery) from an Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India.

2.7.1 Method of Selection : M. Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)
The Admission Test is open to candidates from all over the country. The merit of the candidates will be determined on the basis of written test only and as per the University rules, in which the candidate should secure at least 50% marks. Attested copies of the following be attached with the Application Form.
(a) Proof of passing M.S. (General Surgery)
(b) Attempt certificate
Those who have passed M.S. (General Surgery) Examination in more than two attempts need not apply.
