Every year IAB recongnizes the first 3 VI rand holders in S.S.L.C and H.S.C. and rightly reconizes them with awards.
IAB provides education scholarship for chidren of VI parents

Objectives of IAB:
Provide opportunities for education, vocational training and self-employment for the visually handicapped from weaker sections of the society (Children below Poverty Line), especially from rural areas to become "SELF RELIANT"

Programs in IAB:
These are some of IAB's major projects
** Residential Higher Secondary School - 6th to 12th Standard
** Integraed Education - Tuition/Guidance center with hostel facilities for children studying in schools and colleges around Madurai
** Vocational Training Course - These courses are offered as part of
Rehabilitation and Self Employment
IAB has many state level programs benefiting the blind community throughout Tamilnadu
** Aids and Appliances program - Free tape recorders/CD players and Braille kits are distributed to Visually Handicapped children through out Tamilnadu.
** IAB Library Service - Braille Books are sent by post, free of cost once they became a Member of our Library.
** IAB Braille Press - Braille Books are provided to all blind schools throughout Tamilnadu and individuals on need basis.
** IAB Recording Library - Cassettes and CDs are distributed for school/college going students on need basis.
Apart from the list above there are other projects in which huge number of indirect/direct beneficiaries gets benefited every year.
