University Department of Biophysics, University of Mumbai, Mumbai and Haffkine Institute , Mumbai are inviting applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic students for two JRF positions under collaborative research project. “In vitro assays of snake venoms under metallic nanoparticle environment”
Duration of Project: 3 Years. This is a temporary position co-terminating with the Project. Also, in case of unsatisfactory performance, appointment can be terminated at any time.
Essential Qualifications :
• Post graduate degree in Biophysics/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Applied Biology with minimum 55% marks.
• UGC-CSIR NET JRF / ICMR JRF/ DBT/DST JRF/ DST INSPIRE OR any other Scientific examination who provide research fellowships that candidates can apply.
• If the candidates do not have above JRF qualification, he/she may be given stipend Rs 8000/- month subject to registration for Ph. D in Biophysics University of Mumbai and to fulfill the essential criteria of Ph. D of University of Mumbai./ stipend Rs 3000/ month by Haffkine Institute.
Desirable qualifications : Research experience molecular biology, bioinformatics.
Job Requirements : Candidate is required to conduct experiments in the Department of Biophysics, University of Mumbai and Department of Snake Farm, Haffkine Institute, Parel Mumbai.
