In pursuance of this office Advertisement No.02/2009 vide No.4PSC/E-3/2008-2009 dated 16.2.2009, Addendum vide No.54PSC/E-3/2008-2009 dated 20.5.2009 and Addendum vide No.83PSC/E-3/2009-2009 dated 24.12.2009 and in pursuance of the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court’s order dated 21.02.2011 in PIL No. 10 of 2010 and Govt. O.M. No.SWD.212/2000/Pt-III/2 dated 19.09.2011 and O.M. No.ABP.144/95/110 dated 5.11.2011 for reservation of posts for Persons With Disabilities, the Assam Public Service Commission has decided to hold C.C. Exam (Preliminary.) on 11.12.2011 (Sunday) at the following centre:-
Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Guwahati, Haflong, Jorhat, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Silchar, Sivasagar, Tezpur and Tinsukia.

COMBINED COMPETITIVE (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2009
The Assam Public Service Commissioned hereby declare the result of the Combined Competitive ( Preliminary ) Examination 2009 held on 11th December,2011. The following candidates whose roll nos. are mentioned below have been declared selected for appearing in the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination, 2009.
The selected candidates shall have to coolect the prescribed Application forms for C.C (mains) Examination 2009 from the office of the Assam Public Service Commission. The Application forms may also be downloaded from APSC's web site. The dully filled up Application forms must be submitted within 24the February 2012.
About us:
The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett. On India becoming Republic, the regulations of the Commission were framed by the Governor of Assam in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 of the Constitution of India and the same came into force w.e.f. Ist September 1951.
