Scholarship to SC/ST Students
As per the G.O (Ms.) No.73 Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (ADW III) Department dated 14.07.2004, SC/ST students pursuing Distance Education Programme are eligible for reimbursement of the non refundable fees, if they are not employed and the annual income of their parents does not exceed Rs.2,00,000. They should apply separately for scholarship in the prescribed form issued by the Department of Adi Dravidar and Tribal WelfareSC/ST of the rules and regulations prescribed therefore, before 30th November of the academic year afresh for every year of study.

Students should produce current unemployment certificate while receiving the cheques. If the unemployment certificate is not produced within the prescribed time, the amount will be refunded to the Government.

There will be reservation of seats to the disabled students as per the provisions of the Persons under Disabilities Act.

Annamalai University
The Annamalai University is a unitary, teaching, and residential university. It was founded by the munificence of the farsighted and noble hearted philanthropist and patron of letters the late Hon'ble Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad, Kt, LL.D., D.Litt. He started several colleges, and ultimately, the University in 1929.
