Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram is an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Institute is located at Melakottaiyur, Vandalur- Kelambakkam Road, Chennai-600048. Applications in the prescribed format are invited from suitable Indian Nationals for the following posts.

1. Professor (4 Posts)
Area : Computer / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Design
Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent (in terms of grade etc.) at the preceding degree and having a consistently good academic record.
A minimum of ten years of teaching/ research/ professional experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent level in a research organization or industry as on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research /development in a specific area of specialization in terms of strong record of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings, patents, laboratory/ course development, guidance of Master and Ph.D. students and/ or other recognized relevant professional activities.

2. Assistant Professor (3 Posts)
Area : Computer / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Design
Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent (in terms of grade etc.) at the preceding degree and having a consistently good academic record. Seven non-compounded advance increments will be granted at the entry level pay as per Government of India rules. Candidate should have demonstrated research and development apabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings/ patents etc.

Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.100/- for all the posts in favour of “The Registrar, IIITD&M Kancheepuram” payable at Chennai. The issuing date of demand draft should be within the duration of Advertisement. Demand Draft will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances. No other mode of payment will be accepted, and such applications will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to submit the demand draft.
