RAC INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR FOLLOWING POSTS IN DRDS UNDER DIRECT RECRUITMENT SCHEME INCLUDING VACANCIES TO BE FILLED UNDER SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR ST

Scientist ‘E’ (Rs. 37,400-67,000/- & Grade Pay 8,700/-) – 2 Vacancies
Experience / Specialisation : Hydrodynamic research including the following : -
(i) Study of hydrodynamics of marine vehicles (surface and submerged) through CFD analysis and model testing for hydrodynamic design of such vehicles.
(ii) Conduct of full scale sea trials (powering, manoeuvering and seakeeping) of ships at sea for validation of model test predictions.
(iii) Project management in an R&D establishment.

Scientist ‘D’ (Rs. 15,600-39,100/- & Grade Pay 7,600/-) – 1 Vacancy
Experience / Specialisation : Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Aerospace systems/ subsystems, generation of quality documents for the systems/ sub systems and raw materials used for Aerospace systems, Performance evaluation, Qualification / Acceptance testing and Environmental testing of systems /sub systems of Aerospace systems. Knowledge of production drawings, national and international standards used for Aerospace systems. Experience in NDT/NDE is desirable.

Scientist ‘C’ (Rs. 15,600-39,100/- & Grade Pay 6,600/-) – 8 Vacancies
Experience / Specialisation :
Computer vision and image processing.
Review of software work products like Software development plan, Software requirement specification, Design documents, Code, Test plan, Test reports and release documents to ensure compliance to organizational as well as imposed standards.
Design & analysis of sea based launching systems, Electrohydraulic systems & Finite element analysis. Knowledge of MATLAB, SIMULINK & SIMULATION X is desirable.
Research experience in Algebra/ Number theory / Discrete mathematics. Knowledge of programming languages – C, C++, Work experience in the area of Cryptology.
Research experience in Network security/ Information security / Cryptology / Algorithm design & analysis / Parallel computing & Architecture / Data mining.

AGE LIMITS (as on closing date of advertisement):
(i) For Scientist 'B' : Not exceeding 28 years
(ii) For Scientist `C' : Not exceeding 35 years,
(iii) For Scientist `D' and Scientist 'E' : Not exceeding 45 years.
