RESULT OF THE WRITTEN EXAM HELD ON 23rd OCT 2011 FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SCIENTIST-B IN BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS (BIS)

1. An advertisement was published in Employment News dated 20 – 26 Aug 2011, for recruitment to the post of Scientist B in BIS. A written examination was conducted on 23rd Oct 2011.
2. The following is the list of candidates (in roll no. order) who have qualified to be called for interview to be held from 10 Feb 2012 to 26 Feb 2012 at BIS, Manak Bhavan, 9 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002.

3. All the candidates listed below are requested to be present at Auditorium, BIS, Manak Bhavan, 9 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002 by 09:00 AM sharp on the date mentioned below.
4. The list herein is PROVISIONAL. The candidates would be interviewed subject to their fulfilling of all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the advertisement and thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photograph etc.
5. A separate call letter will be sent to all the candidates listed below at the registered e-mail address only given by candidate.
6. The candidates must bring the following: i) Original certificates relating to his/her date of Birth, Qualifications, including Marks-Sheet, indicating marks obtained in qualifying Degree Examination. If obtained Grade Points etc, he/she is required to bring conversion formula duly authenticated by the Appropriate Authority of the University, ii) Two copies of recent Passport size Photograph, iii) Original Certificate of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman duly issued by the Competent Authority. iv) One set of self attested photocopies of the documents mentioned at (i) & (iii) above.
7. In case the candidate is employed in Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Body etc. he/she is required to bring a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC)” from his/her present employer. In absence of NOC, he/she will neither be interviewed nor any TA will be reimbursed to him/her.
8. In case he/she is coming from outside Delhi, traveling expenses upto second class train fare for to-and-fro journeys from his/her normal place of residence (as declared in application form) to Delhi by shortest route will be reimbursed, provided it has not been drawn from any other sources. He/She should provide the original tickets of traveling.
9. PLEASE NOTE THAT, AFTER VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW, IF IT IS FOUND THAT THE CANDIDATE DOES NOT FULFIL THE PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST AS GIVEN IN THE ADVERTISEMENT, HE/SHE WILL NEITHER BE INTERVIEWED NOR ANY TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE PAID TO HIM/HER.

sr i am satish. my roll no is 2218050036.i am handicaped (pwd) in HH or hearing handicaped.
i have also passed written exam but my handicaped certificateat the time of interview is 35%.
or PWD is35%.so not allowed me to interview but now my disablity is40% in hearing impaired. so please give me chance for interview. if any (pwd )student in hearing impared is not cleared the writteen exam or not eligible for the post of scientist-B please give me chance because my hearing is loss 60decibel or 40%.
