You must submit along with your application attested copies for Category (if you belong to OBC Non Creamy Layer, SC or ST. OBC (Non creamy layer) certificate should not be dated earlier than June 2011). In addition provide attested copies for Educational Qualifications (detailed mark sheets of all semesters/years of qualifying degree) and Work Experience wherever applicable. Choose category as General if you belong to OBC and you do not belong to non creamy.

1. Please attach copies of CAT Score along with the application.
2. Please use gem clips and do not staple the annexures to the application form.
3. Please send the application form in A4 or larger sized cover and do not fold it.
4. Sponsered candidates except Defence Personnel should have a valid score in national level entrance test such as CAT/XAT/MAT or equivalent.
5. Foreign / NRI candidates should have a valid score in GMAT. A certificate from the Indian Embassy for the resident status should be attached.
6. Candidates are required to fill both the fields in the Category. If you belong to person with disability category (PD) choose "PD" for the second field. Otherwise choose "None". If you apply under PD (Person with disability) category, you are required to attach a certificate of disability issued by competent authority.
7. The institute follows Government of India norms on reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy) candidates and for persons with disability

In an additional sheet, please present (maximum 500 words), your reasons for seeking admission to the IIT Madras MBA programme, and any other information that will be useful to support your application for admission. Specific examples or descriptions of situations, with supporting evidence, would be helpful.

Applications will be valid only if all the instructions are compiled with.

If the hardcopy of the application form along with Demand Draft and attested copies of the corresponding documents do not reach us on or before 27th Janury, 2012, your application will not be considered for further processing. The demand draft amount is Rs. 500 /- for GN & OBC, Rs. 250 /- for SC/ST/PD, Rs. 800/- for Sponsored Candidates and US $100 /- for FN / NRI. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIT Madras " and payable at Chennai.
