It is notified for information of all the concerned that on the recommendation of the Deans’ Committee, the Vice-Chancellor has been pleased to authorize the following criteria for admission to the B.Tech course offered by the University at Main Campus and North Campus in anticipation of the approval of the competent body;

a) The admission for the session 2012 and onwards shall be made on the basis of the latest AIEEE score and merit of the qualifying examination at 10+2 level.
b) The merit shall be reduced to the base of 100, comprising weightage as under:
i) 60% weightage shall be for latest AIEEE score
ii) 40% weightage for merit obtained in the qualifying examination at 10+2 level or any other equivalent examination recognized thereto by J&K
Board of School Education
The candidates desirous to seek admission to the said B.Tech course offered by the University are advised to appear in AIEEE examination and submit their score cards as and when admission notification is issued by the University.
