Job Description
-The job responsibilities involve Mechanical Designing, Finite Element Analysis, and Design Optimization.
-The candidate will primarily work with the clientsâ teams in the U.S. and other countries.
-This position requires travel to the client locations in U.S. and other countries.

Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Project Manager from a top institution to head a team and who has U.S. experience.
People working in U.S. and planning to move to India are welcome.
He/she must possess excellent written and verbal Skills. An ideal candidate should have a flair for analytical thinking.
Experience with Mechanical design particularly with solid modeling software such as SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA is a must. Experience in building parametric solid models is essential.
Finite Element Analysis experience, with software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and MARC is required. Preference is given to experience with non-linear structural analysis.
Must have experience in:
o pre-processing (translating CAD/geometry into FEA software, including meshing, boundary condition definition)
o analysis
o post-processing (extracting results of interest)
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic, or similar software is required. High level of expertise is not a requirement, but candidate must be confident with coding abilities.
Excellent oval and written communication skills are required. Blogging / Wiki communication will be essential during the job.
Experience with Design Optimization software would be a great advantage, but is not essential

- Redesigning of AF878 to comply with ASME (NPI project) :
Utilized my expertise in the conceptual design, detailed engineering and Oracle BOM updation of AF878 in compliant with ASME codes and standards to launch a cost effective Ultrasonic flow meter for Global markets.
- Multiphase NTI program :
Utilized my expertise and product knowledge, proposed BOM and Flow cell design for Entitlement study of Ultrasonic meter using the existing flow meters. Also generated a Piping layout drawing of the GE system for Wet gas test loop for the feasibility study.
- Coriolis Flow Meter (NPI project) :
Performed FEA for non-standard components of the flow meter assembly, to optimize the design and reduce cost using Ansys. This helps to better formulate the Pressure and Temperature ratings for the non-standard components.
- Gas & Moisture product design support :
Extensively supported the G&M team in quickly replacing the obsolete Enclosure with the new one for MMY-2650 Hygrometer product line and helped the business to meet the customer’s requirement without any delay.
- NPI design support – UFM Pravaah & Sentinel LCT :
