Job Description
Workgroup Manager for Catia V4 (WGM) team is responsible for integrations of Catia V4 with Windchill.This integration enables proper access of CAD data to all team members throughout the enterprise, greatly speeding the design process.
All the work done by the group is done in Java and C/C++ on Windows and Unix platform. CATGEO API is used to communicate with CAD Application and Java/Swing UI is used to communicate with Windchill.

The Job Responsibilities include:-
* Enhance and upgrade functionality of WGM with new release of Windchill.
* Enhance and upgrade functionality of WGM with new releases of the CAD application.
* Resolution of software defects (all aspects from evaluation, fixing, workarounds, unit testing) as per organization guidelines.
* Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing and to Documentation group to facilitate publication.
* Supports and/or installs software applications
* Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities, testing process and test reviews
* To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines


Desired Profile
The skills required for this role are:
* 5-8 years of application development in C++ and Java
* Experience on Catia V4 CATGEO API is required.
* Experience of using Catia V4 with VPM is preferred.
* Knowledge of integrating MCAD package with PDM system is desirable (e.g. VPM, TeamCenter CAD Integrations)
