WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS & JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS

A walk in interview will be held on 1.2.2012 (Wednesday) for the posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure)& Junior Resident Doctors (One year tenure) from II :00 am onwards in the Administrative Block NEIGRJHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong - 793018.

SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS for the following departments and the number of posts as mentioned against each :
(i) Anaesthesiology - 7 (3UR, 20BC, ISC & 1ST) (ii) Biochemistry - I SC (iii) Cardiology - IOBC (iv) Community Medicine - I OBC (v) CTYS - 3 (2UR, I OBC) (vi) Forensic Medicine - I OBC (vii) General Medicine - 2 ( I UR, IOBC) (vi ii) General Surgery - 2 ( I UR, IOBC) (ix) Hospital Administration - I t~ R (x) Microbiology- 2( I OBC, I UR) (xi) Neurology - I OBC (xii) 0 & G - 5 (2UR, 20BC & I ST) (xii ) Ophthalmology- I OBC (xiv) Orthopaedics- I SC (xv) Paediatrics - 4 ( I SC, I ST, IOBC & I UR) (xv) Phys iology- I UR (xvi i) Radiodiagnosis - 3 (2 OBC, I SC) (xviii) Urology- 2 ( I UR, I OBC).
Essential Qualification : Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qua lifications incl uded in the part - II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in secti on 13 (B) of the Act).
I . Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital.
II . Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Counci l/Medical Council oflndia.
Desirable : Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.
Scale of Pay : Rs.l8,750/- + GP - Rs.6600/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.
Age limit : 33 years.

JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTOR : 55 ( 28 UR 17 OBC 8 SC & 2ST) for the various departments: out of above, 2 posts of JRD are reserved for phys ically handicapped candidates (One leg, One arm).
Educational qualification required for the posts of JRDs :
(i) Medical qualification included in the Schedule - I & II of the 3rd Schedule of the Lndian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qua lifications included in the part - n of the 3rd schedule should also fu lfi l the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
(ii) Satisfactory completion of the compulsory intemship.
(iii) Candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
Age limit : 30 years

Candidates who does not fulfil any one of the above conditions, will not be allowed to appear in the interview. They are to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before coming to appear the walk in interview on 1.2.20 12.
