Project title : Study, Analysis & Rectification of the Manufacturing Processes at CMC COMMUTATORS, Belagum.(AN ISO 9001:2008 company).
Objective of the project : The project attempts in increasing the productivity by changing the existing setup.

Outcome of the project : After installing the index plate the work is getting done with great ease. The dependency of specialized labor to do the same has been eliminated. Also strain on labor’s eyes is totally reduced. This enables us to reduce the error in slotting (reduced from 7.97% to 2.4%) and as well as to increase the human productivity.
Vibrating screen machine helps in reducing the lead time of procurement of processed raw material. The manual work done in 6 days by 2 labours can be done in one day by a single labor thereby saving time and money. The gain in monitory terms is 80% reduction in cost of process (Rs. 75 to clean 300 Kgs against Rs.900 to do the same).
