Applications are invited from qualified and eligible persons for the post of One IT Consultant on Contractual basis, capable of managing and developing with supporting software services and to manage complete IT solutions / software solutions of the Corporation on all key functions of application such as consumer billing management (TRM), Technical software, Finance management system, HR related packages, GIS, SCADA, MIS related web applications etc. He / She should manage infrastructure services and internal applications including network server, IT tools to all business units within the Corporate office, which covers the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security and management of all software (developed in-house, procured from 3rd party vendors) and providing services to the business needs of the Corporation.

The Interested Candidates shall submit their hard copy of Resume / Bio-data and necessary certificates. The assignment will be for one year, which may be extended further based on performance of the candidate.

Qualification & Experience :
- BE / B. Tech in CS/IS or MCA from recognized university, Applicants with M.Tech would be given higher weightage.
- Good working knowledge of database with proficiency in Oracle forms/Reports, PL/SQL, VB, .NET/C#.NET/JAVA/J2EE and latest web technology programming languages.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managing internal IT setup for a midsized organization.
- Sound understanding of the present Networking and Communication Technology and in depth knowledge of Servers and Software application projects.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor or team manager.
- Good communication skills, particularly verbal skills, both in person and over Telephone.

Selection
1. The Selection will be done through Direct interview / interview cum test.
2. Application shall be given through hard copy of Resume / Bio-data with photocopies of
i) Marks card/certificates for qualification.
ii) Previous experience certificates.
iii) Any other related documents.
3. The contract is subjected to verification of all original documents.
4. The candidates who obtain contract by furnishing false information in the application are liable to be rejected at a later date also.
5. The date of Interview/test of qualified applicants will be intimated.
6. Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be rejected.
7. The Corporation reserves the right to cancel during any stage without prejudice to issue fresh notification if necessary.
8. The decision of CESC, Mysore in matters relating to eligibility contract will be final.
