Applications are invited from regular serving employees for filling up of 25% vacancies against General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) quota as indicated below through Railway Recruitment Board, Bilaspur. Vacancies and community wise breakup to be filled are indicated below.

Minimum educational qualification : Matriculation OR its equivalent under 10+2 system and course completed Act Apprentices OR ITI in any of the following specific trades recognized by SCVT/ NCVT (1) fitter (2) Electrician (3) instrument Mechanic (4) Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic (5) Mechanic Radio & T.V. (6) Electronics Mechanics (7) Mechanic Motor Vehicle (8) Wiremen (9) Tractor Mechanic (10) Armature and Coil Winder (11) Mechanic Diesel (12) Heat Engine (13) Turner (14) Machinist (15) Refrigeration & AC Mechanic OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics Automobile Engineering recognized by AICTE in lieu of ITI

Age limit :-Maximum age limit will be 42 years for General candidates, 47 years SC/ST candidates and 45 years for OBC candidates. The age will be reckoned as on 01.01.2012.

Examination fee : There is no examination fee.

How to apply :
1. Applications should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in English/Hindi in the format enclosed with this notification. Applications in any other format are liable to be rejected.
2. Applications should be on a good quality A-4 size bond paper (80 GSM) using one side only.
3. A self attested recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the space provided for in the application.

Whom to apply :-
Employees should send their applications through proper channel addressed to concerned Senior Divisional Personnel Officer/Workshop Personnel Officer/Construction Personnel Officer/HQ Personnel Officer, before the last date indicated for Assistant Loco Pilot in column 4 and the concerned Sr.DPO/WPO to forward the applications duly scrutinized to Headquarter by the dates indicated in column 5 below.

Last date for division to forward to HQ : 23.02.2012

Enclosures to be attached :-
1. Attested copies of certificate in proof of age.
2. Attested copies of certificate in proof of caste. Attested copy of caste certificate from competent authority in the case of SC/ST employees (as given in Annexure-II) & OBC employees (as given Annexure-III) self declaration from OBC candidates regarding noncreamy layer status in the proforma as given in Annexure-IV.
3. Attested copies of certificates in proof of Educational/Technical Qualifications.
