Role : Modeling & analysis of PZT thin film micro actuator.
Modal analysis : A modal analysis of a finite element model of the actuator was carried out; the frequency data was compared with the corresponding frequencies that were obtained experimentally.
Static analysis : The finite element model of the actuator is used to extract the piezoelectric coefficient of the each measured deflection of PZT thin films.
Title : Analysis of composite pressure vessel with cutout and inclusion
Software Used : Ansys.11
Role : Modeling and analysis of composite pressure vessel.
Static analysis : Analysis of stresses around an elliptical cutout and inclusion in laminated composite pressure vessel to study the effect of curvature parameter and thickness in the application of branch connection, manholes and visibility etc.
Title : Meshing of the Landing Gear of Aircraft.
Software Used : Hyper mesh 10.
Description : The data available in this project was the .stp a file, which was imported in Hyper mesh, entire model is meshed with hexa elements as per the customer requirement with given quality criteria. Later exported the models as .inp format to Ansys for further analysis

Project Details :
(M.Tech) Project title : Analysis of stresses around an elliptical cutout and inclusion in laminated composite cylindrical shell: Effect of axis ratio
It deals with the stress analysis of laminated composite cylindrical shell with elliptical cutout/inclusion made of boron epoxy [902/0]s for different axis ratio (k). ANSYS commercial software is used to investigate the effect of axis ratio, in a composite cylindrical shell with cutout/inclusion.
(B.E)Project title: Inbuilt Hydraulic Jack
Inbuilt Hydraulic Jack is used to lift any wheel of the vehicle using pressurized oil. It is designed on the basis of thick and thin cylinders. It can lift any particular wheel by just pressing the break pedal. Hence it is easy to replace the wheel.

- Participated and presented a paper “Effect of Axis Ratio on the Stresses around an Elliptical Cutout in Laminated Composite Pressure Vessel” at the National Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering held at JNNCE Shimoga, Karantaka during Sept, 2010.
