Assistant Professor

Qualifications : Ph.D. degree with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch (Physics /Mathematics / Chemistry / Life Sciences) with a very good academic record throughout. At least three years of teaching / research experience.

Salrary :Rs.40,000/- p.m. plus allowances such as HRA and TA. Appointment will be made on contract basis for 5 years.

Research Associate

Post - Doctoral Position in Life Sciences New

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the above position in the Department of Life Sciences, to work on a project looking at the effects of inflammatory mediators on neural stem cells. Duties may include assisting with undergraduate laboratory training. The position is temporary, for a period of one year and renewable upto 3 years.

Eligibility : PhD or equivalent. Some post-doctoral experience is preferable. Basic knowledge of animal tissue culture and molecular biology techniques is essential.

Salary : Rs. 22,000/-, Rs. 23,000/- or Rs. 24,000/- p.m. plus allowances such as HRA and TA, depending upon post-doctoral experience.
