Job Description
Operational
-- To produce interior layouts & detail drawings for all the customers.
-- Coordinate for extracting and preparing the drawings for interior layout of sample flats / entrance lobbies etc. and explaining to the Engineering Department
-- Performing R&D activities, keeping abreast with new design development.
-- Developing layouts, design concepts, furniture details.
-- Design conceptualization, working drawing, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, Space planning, detailing etc.
-- Attending Client meetings to draw up a design brief.
-- Attending periodic site meetings to supervise on site work.
-- Coordinating with engineers regarding costing of the projects.
-- Coordinating with architect, engineer for selecting, purchasing and ordering of materials.
-- Review and comment on designs/documents submitted by vendors or consultants.
-- Coordinate with other departments like services operations and facilities for their inputs and comments.
-- Monitor quality with respect to specification design intent etc during construction.
-- Prepare in consultants with site team for resolving construction related issues coordination issues and drawings.
-- Preparation of periodic update reports with respect to status of design developments pending designs issues drawings status etc
Financial
-- Planning the costs of the projects.
-- Drive cost savings through effective negotiations with vendors, service providers and consultants
-- Making estimates with specifications and BOQs
People
-- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work
Desired Candidate Profile
5-10 years experience with at least 3 years experience in handling the interior design work for Residential Flats, Hotels, Malls etc.Degree in Interior Designing
