Bihar State AIDS Control Society invites application in prescribed proforma for filling up of the following posts on Contractual basis at Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centres for Injecting Drug Users (IDUs)

Cadre of Staff : Doctor
Qualifications : Should have a minimum qualification of MBBS with valid registration from the Medical Council. Preference will be given to MD Psychiatry / Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine
No. of Posts in each OST Centre : 1
Salary : Rs.25,000 consolidated

Cadre of Staff : Staff Nurse
Qualifications : Should have a minimum qualification of ANM. Those with Diploma Nursing/Bachelor of Science (Nursing) would be preferred
No. of Posts in each OST Centre : 2
Salary : Rs.7,000 consolidated

Cadre of Staff : Counsellor
Qualifications : Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Social Sciences/Humanities. Those who have received training in counselling drug users and prior experience of working with drug users are preferred.
No. of Posts in each OST Centre : 1
Salary : Rs.7,000 consolidated

Cadre of Staff : Data Entry Operator
Qualifications : Should be a Graduate and should have received a formal training in computer applications.
No. of Posts in each OST Centre : 1
Salary : Rs.6,500 consolidated

General Instructions :-
1. The last date of receipt of applications is 23rd January 2012. Applications received after closing date and incomplete application in any respect will not be entertained.
2. The maximum age limit for the post is 62 years.
3. The said posts are purely temporary and contractual.
4. The posts will be place specific and non transferable.
5. The post applied for should be clearly mentioned on the top of the envelope.
6. Officials of Government Department are also eligible to apply against this vacancy.
