Duties and responsibilities

- Air conditioning development window , split and commercial type, Thermal calculation, cycle balancing, technical support .
- Maintenance & Repair of all types of Air- Conditioning System.
- Analysis of engineering specifications from the consultant.
- Prepare & submit material submittals for consultants/clients approval.
- Verify shop drawings based on tender drawings.
- Preparing take offs based on shop drawing and to verifying with Bill of quantities to place order of material for execution & actual execution of work.
- Coordinating the shop drawing with other trades.
- Cooling load calculation after building survey using CARRIER and ASHRAE Standards by manual and by latest HVAC software.
- Calculation of blower CFM, air distribution duct design following SMACNA and DW142 Duct design codes, Selection of diffusers, grilles G.I Sheet etc, etc.
- Erection /installation of All numerous equipments Such as Chillers, Pumps, Air Handling Units, Packaged Units Ducting, Fan coil Units, Hot water Converter, Hot water Coils, Inertia Filters, Bleed Fans, Exhaust Fans, Kitchen Hoods, all types of valves and inspect the same for the conformance of specifications to be followed.
- Complete design work of ducting network with preparation of drawings with complete standards and site supervision for duct fabrication and installation with complete knowledge of SMACNA standards with all accessories using viz; Manual volume, Fire Dampers.
HVAC :-
1) Air Conditioning Cooling Load calculations, Heat Loss calculations following ASHRAE
codes.
2) Duct system design, supervision, duct fabrication and installation of the ductwork
following SMACNA 2, DW 144 codes.
3) Chilled water pipe design and pump head calculation, selection of chilled water
pumps.
4) Site supervision of all Airconditioning works.
5) Calculation of static pressure of Blowers & Pumps and their selection.
6) Selection of Chillers, AHU’S, FCU’S, Exhaust Fan, Blower and other
Accessories.
7) Preparation of drawings for A/C equipments and accessories installation.
8) Ensure smooth commssioning of the erected hvac projects.
9) Ensure that all HVAC site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as
per shop drawings, method statements, and specification and work plan.
10) Ensure safe work environments, control the use of material and avoid damages and
waste, request material, tools and equipment needed for the projects and issue the
foreman daily instructions as per the work plan
11) Maintaining records and archives to company standards
12) Responsible for Preparation of Bill of Quantity of Materials for Projects
Plumbing and Fire Fighting :-
1) Execution of all plumbinh and FF work.
2) Estimation of fixtures units/loading units
3) Design of plumbing system, water meter sizing,
