We, at Shree Guru Narasimha Mithra Mandali ®, have chalked out a unique scholarship programme in our maiden year itself to reach out to economically weak, but, deserving students to assist them to fulfill their life-goal of pursuing education, even professional education. In this innovative scheme, we shoulder the full responsibility of the school/college education of the students and pay the entire school/college/hostel fees directly to concerned school/college/hostel by demand draft. It is our laid-down policy that we do not reimburse the fees already paid. The scholarship is guaranteed for the whole period of the chosen course, provided, the student maintains high level of performance. Since the aid covers the entire educational career of a student, we feel, the student is able to concentrate more on studies than worrying about the source of finance for coming academic seasons.

During 2006-07, the first year of initiation of this scholarship scheme, we started with just one engineering student of National Institute of Engineering, Mysore with a scholarship of Rs 22,900.00. The second year saw four more scholars in the beneficiary kitty with disbursement of Rs 76,550.00 as scholarship. In the third year, we added another four students to the list, raising the total scholarship amount to Rs 1,68,525 = 00 for the year. In the fourth year, we have twenty one students availing scholarships, jacking up the year’s assistance amount to 4,05,782=00 rupees. This year (2010-11) we have 27 students in our rolls with assistance amount raising up to an incredible height to Rs. 5,22,835. So far, 31 students have been benefited from this scheme with the total investment of Rs, 12,05,245/-. Among them, three students have joined the prestigious IT establishments in June 2010 - a heartwarming sight to see these young, pulsating hearts marching towards “empowerment”!

Total amount of scholarship paid for the last five years is Rs. 12,05,245/-The success of the scheme is absolutely marvelous as we see more and more sponsors have come forward to fund the entire educational expenses of few students!! Yeah, without your continuous encouragement, some of these girls and boys would not have seen the portals of higher education. With your blessings, Sir, some families have been able to see the hopes of future in their dead-dark life.
