    - Successfully completed M.Tech Project on “BIODEGRADATION OF FLUOROPHENOL USING SEQUENCIAL BATCH REACTOR” under the guidance of Dr.Basavraju Manu, Asst. Prof. Civil dept.NITK, Surathkal.
    Fluorophenolic compounds are used as agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals and cause serious environmental contamination. In this project, I studied the biodegradability of fluorophenols (namely 2-fluorophenol and 4-fluorophenol) at different dosage rate and its effects on COD removal efficiency at an OLR of 2 Kg COD/m3day with the help of Sequential Batch Reactor. Six reactors had been acclimatized at an OLR of 2Kg COD/m3day out of which 3 were under aerobic and 3 under anaerobic (2w+1s) condition. After acclimatization various dosage of 2-fluorophenol and 4-fluorphenol (5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mg/L) were fed to anaerobic reactor first as influent (for defluorination) and the effluent from anaerobic reactors were fed to aerobic reactor. The biodegradation efficiency and the factor effecting biodegradation was evaluated.
    - Successfully completed B.Tech project on “IDENTIFICATION OF Bt COTTON USING PCR” under the guidance of Mr.J.sankar in “HELINI BIOMOLECULES” in Guntur.
