Qualification :
(i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
(ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Age limit : 18 to 27 years as on last date of receipt of application

Application fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of ICAR Unit, CMFRI, Cochin may be enclosed along with application. No fee for SC/ST candidates.

The filled application form, duly signed and affixed with a recent passport size photograph along with attested copies of certificates in support of claims regarding age, educational qualifications, SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman etc. should be sent to the

Marine Fisheries P.O., Mandapam Camp,
Ramanathapuram District –623 520.
The envelope containing the application must be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “ LOWER DIVISION CLERK” at the left side corner of the envelope.

The candidates are required to submit attested copies of certificates in support of their claims regarding Age, Educational qualifications, SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman etc. along with their application.

Applicant must submit a declaration as to whether he is related to any employees of CMFRI/ICAR and, if so, write the name, designation, address and describe the nature of his/her relationship.

The last date for receipt of the application is 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the News Paper.

I have the stenographer grade D skill test on 10Th January in Bangalore.I do not know the shorthand.Can i attend the test. Eligibility for applying to this post is Plus Two.That is why i have applied for this post.please reply
