Pay Band/Scale : PB-2 of ` 9,300-34,800 and Grade Pay of ` 4,200/- and other allowances as applicable to the Government of India Employees stationed at Bhubaneswar.

Essential Qualification : Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or Graduate with Diploma in Library Science from recognized University with 3 years experience of working in a Library.

Desirable Qualification : Certificate course in Computer.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years (as on 31.03.2012). Upper age limit relaxable to 5 years for departmental candidates of Central IHMs and as specified for other categories by Govt. of India from time to time.
