PROJECT WORK
- One year project work on “Removal of turbidity from textile effluent by using chemical coagulant”. (Department of Environmental Science, Shivaji university Kolhapur).
- Short information about project :
1) Sample collection
2) Coagulant preparation
3) Optimization of pH
4) Treatment method : The optimum dosage of coagulant depends on the amount and nature of suspended solids present in the wastewater. Lime and Ferric Chloride were used as coagulant aid to enhance the coagulation process. After a finding optimum pH the combine (mix) Lime+Ferric Chloride dosage(2ml,4ml,6ml,8ml,10ml,12ml) apply to 250 ml of effluent. With the help of shaker. Effluent and Lime+Ferric Chloride dosage in the beaker were mixed and stirrer this process will continue ½ hour. After a ½ hour it settles for 2 hours. After a settling the effluent collects a supernatant of this effluent and checking a various parameters.
5) Conclusion : The 10 ml dose of coagulant gets good results. In 10 ml dose of coagulant reduces Turbidity, TSS, TDS, Sulphate, and Chloride compare to other dose.

- In plant training one month at Sai Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (water & pollution control Engineering) Pune. In the Period 25April 2009 to 25 May 2009.
- Short information about training :
Sai Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd provides a waste water treatment system (municipal waste, industrial waste) to different industries. Composed of a combination of unit operation and process designed to reduce certain constituents of waste water to acceptable level. Commonly used unit operation and processes, screening, sedimentation, filtration, floatation, coagulation, chlorination, trickling filter, ion exchange etc. The all system given by consultancy has been working efficiently and results are within permissible limits.
