Scholarships
St. Mary's College has a long testimony of helping needy and meritorious students with Scholarship. There are 8 scholarships funded by the management in the form of full academic year tuition fee of the college.
Students are required to fill up the Scholarship Application form and submit along with their Admission Receipt. All scholarships are announced in the month of August.

Details of the Scholarships:
ST. MARY’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHRISTIANS
This category is reserved for Christian minority students only.
A fee waiver of 50% of the Annual fees will be awarded to the selected students.

Eligibility:
** Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination is 75%.
(Compartmental / Improvement scores are not considered.)
** Minimum attendance required is 80%.

Documents to be submitted:
** A certificate from the guardian church, issued by the Pastor/ Priest. Complete details of the church and the membership should be furnished on the church letter head.
** Church baptism certificate.
** Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination.

ST. MARY’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE
This is an open category scholarship.
** One year’s fee waiver will be awarded to the selected students.

Eligibility:
** Any student who secures 90% in the qualifying examination can apply.
(Compartmental / Improvement scores are not considered.)
** Minimum attendance required is 80%.
** Documents to be submitted:
** Copy of Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination.

ST. MARY’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE SPORTSMEN
This category is reserved for students with a record of National Level Sportsmanship.
** Any student who has played at a national level tournament can apply.
(A student who is at INACTIVE category for a year does not qualify for the scholarship.)
** A fee waiver of 50% of Annual fee will be awarded to the selected students.

Eligibility:
** Minimum academic score required is 50% in the qualifying examination.
** (Compartmental / Improvement scores are not considered.)ü
** Minimum attendance required is 80%.

Documents to be submitted:
** Proof of National Level player attested by the HOD Physical Education, SMC.
** A permission letter from the Principal for participating in various sports meets/sports events. This letter can be produced to substitute for the requisite attendance.
** Proof of employment and income of the parent.
** Copy of Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination.

Note:
** Decision of the management is final for awarding the scholarships.
** Attendance and Memorandum of marks must be submitted as soon as the results are announced.
** The supporting documents are to be furnished at the time of submission of the application form.
** All these scholarships lapse at the end of the academic year.
** Mode of awarding the scholarships is in the form of fees waiver.
** These Scholarships will be awarded at the beginning of the academic year, after the results are declared.
