VI Pay Commission Arrear Balance transferred to Deposits : Rs. 24253

In Finance (Pay Cell) Department G.O. Ms.No.413, 414 dated 31st July 2004 the mode of payment of 60% arrears of VI Pay Commission Arrears has been defined by the Government.
Accordingly,
1.The total arrears payable to each employee calculated upto 31-3-2003 with interest from 1998-99 upto 31.3.2003 has been transferred to a non-interest bearing public deposit account.
2. 60% of pay revision arrears calculated upto 31.3.2003 will be released in three equal instalments in the form of Small Savings Scrips either as Post Office Time Deposit for three years or National Savings Certificate VIII Issue for which option shall be obtained from the individual.
3. No interest is payable beyond 31.3.2003.
4. In respect of those employees, who retired between 1.1.1996 and 31.3.2004, the first instalment will be paid in 2004-05, second instalment in 2005-06 and the third instalment in 2006-07.
5. In respect of employees, who retire from service after 1.4.2004, the first instalment will be paid from the starting year of retirement of the employee, second and third instalments will be paid in two subsequent years.

How adjustment of Missing Credits shown in the AAS are made?

Missing credits are exhibited in AAS, which can be accounted for, on receipt of necessary details such as Head of Account, Month of transaction, Name of Treasury,Sub-account, Voucher No. and forwarded through the concerned Treasury Officer.
