IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL CANDIDATES APPEARING FOR IAM APT 2012 (IAM Aptitude Test) FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013 TO BE HELD ON 5TH FEBRUARY 2012

ONLINE TEST GUIDELINES
The online test will have four sections. Each section will consist of 20 questions.
There will be a total of 80 questions. Each question carries 1 mark and so the total marks will be 80.
The duration of the test is 1 Hour.
The candidates are required to report 30 minutes before the starting of test (as per the schedule mentioned on the E- Admit card) for photo ID verification and briefing.
Each candidate must bring the printed copy of the admit card at the time of online / offline examination with authentic identity proof (Driving License / Voter id card / PAN card / Passport).
There is no negative marking.

General Instructions:
1. The process of registration involves a set of four distinct steps. Candidates must carefully read all the instructions below before filling up the online form. The last date for online registration is 31st January 2012.
2. The registration fee for International Pathways Programme is 2000/-
3. The detailed information about the online / offline IAM APT 2012(IAM Aptitude Test) will be sent to the candidate in a separate email.
4. The link for downloading and printing admit card will be emailed to the candidates 3 - 4 days prior to the online / offline examination. Each candidate must bring the printed copy of the admit card at the time of online / offline examination with authentic identity proof (Driving License / Voter id card / PAN card / Passport).
5. A candidate is allowed to make payment of the registration fee either using a credit card or through a Demand Draft.
a. The payment by credit card will be processed through a secured payment gateway (Please ensure to key in the correct card details). The registration number and other related details will be emailed to the candidate immediately after successful realization of the payment via Credit Card. Or
b. The payment through demand draft shall be made by drawing a demand draft in favour of "Institute of Apparel Management" payable at Gurgaon to be sent to the following address:

The candidates making payment through Demand Draft should be able to provide demand draft details such as D.D. No., D.D. Date, Amount, Drawee Bank Name, and Drawee Bank Branch Name while submitting the form online. The form will be submitted only after the details are successfully entered in the online form. A "Provisional Registration Number" will then be generated and emailed to the candidate, which needs to be mentioned on the cover letter and on the back side of Demand Draft and should be sent to Institute of Apparel Management, Gurgaon. The form is considered to be complete and the student will be eligible to appear for online / offline exam only after the receipt of Demand Draft by the Institution at Gurgaon within 5 days of the online registration. A registration number will then be generated after the receipt of Demand Draft which will be used by the registering student for further course of action.

STEP -1
a) The candidate must enter the details carefully. The details once submitted cannot be changed.
b) All the candidates must enter their valid email id and contact number otherwise their form will be summarily rejected.
STEP -2
a) The examination centre once chosen cannot be changed. IAM reserves the right to cancel any Examination Centre mentioned in the list. In such a case an Alternate Examination Centre that is administratively convenient will be allotted.
b) All final year candidates will be required to submit attested copies of the provisional certificates / degrees on or before 01/07/2012 to ensure admission after meeting the selection criterion. The candidates who fail to submit the required documents by the stipulated date, their admission will automatically stand cancelled.
c) False information/ photograph / ineligibility will lead to disqualification of the candidature.
STEP -3
a) A recent color photograph (digital or scanned) of size 2.5 cm X 3.5 cm of size less than 100KB saved with jpg or jpeg or gif extension is required.
STEP -4
a) A candidate is allowed to make payment of the registration fee either using a credit card or through a Demand Draft.
