Loans and Advances to NRIs
The following types of loans are available to NRIs
** Against their own term deposists with the Bank for purposes other than investment in India on non-repatriation basis and for acquiring flats/houses in India.Loans/overdrafts can be extended to residents against the term deposits of NRIs.
** Against shares and other securities and immovable property(other then agricultural or plantation property or farmhouse)for meeting their personal requirements or own business purposes other than agricultural/plantation activities
** Loans against Resurgent India Bonds(RIBs) for peronal requirements or own business purpose other than agricultural/plantation activities
** Housing Loans for acquiring /repairs/renovation/modernisation
