1. AN EFFECTIVE TECHNIQUE TO REDUCE PAPR IN OFDM SYSTEM
OFDM modulation produces higher Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR). This high power saturates the power amplifier placed in the RF section resulting higher bit error rate. Using Clipping Technique to avoid this higher PAPR value in a system before it is sent to RF.

Project Title : ¬¬Development of Direct Injection Spark Ignited Engine.
Project Aim : To control pollution by avoiding occurrence of pinking by use of
direct fuel injection in petrol engine.
Project Guide : B. Prem Anand, Assistant professor, Mechanical Engineering .
Group Strength : 5 students

Description of project : The project is to develop a petrol engine in which pinking is avoided
by use of Electronic control unit which controls amount of fuel
needed to injection of fuel. Based on factors such as cylinder
temperature, rpm of crank, ignition timing. It manipulates how much
amount of fuel is needed to inject to avoid pre ignition of fuel. It is
responsible for fluctuating ignition timing. This leads to injection of
appropriate amount of fuel at appropriate time. In doing so, it avoids
overheating of engine, formation of deadly poisonous gas
and incomplete combustion of fuel. Thus it is environment friendly
gasoline engine which prevents loss of the fuel energy.

My Contribution : I am responsible for collecting all technical information about
the SI Engine, ECU, sensors, equipments and parts needed to
develop petrol engine with direct fuel injector and integration part.

ACHIEVEMENTS –
Scored 8.07 gpa in 5th semester of Engineering.
