ADMISSION NOTIFICATION - 2011-12 M.Ed. (Part Time)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into
M.Ed. (Part time) for the Academic Year 2011-12. Candidates who passed
B.Ed., and having at least two years of experience as teachers after getting B.Ed. Degree or administator in any educational institution (with B.Ed.), recognised by Government of Andhra Pradesh are eligible for admission. Such candidates have to enclose a Demand Draft (non refundable) for Rs.375/- drawn in favour of Director, Directorate of Admissions, payable at State Bank of India, NU Campus Branch (Code No 4793) or Andhra Bank, ANU Campus Branch (Code No 1508). Applicant should invariably write his/her name and address on the reverse side of the DD (DDs drawn on other banks other than mentioned above are not acceptable)

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR ADMISSION INTO
M.ED (PART TIME) COURSE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-12.
Eligibility:
The Candidates having at least two years of experience as teacher or administrator and other functionaries connected with office administration, reasearch, curriculum material development, policy
making, teacher education with B.Ed. are eligible for admission. Experience will be calculated from the date of award of the B.Ed. Degree. The experience prior to the date of aquirement of B.Ed. Degree will not be considered. Candidates must have at least 50% marks in graduate/post graduate level and atleast 55% marks (50% of marks in case of SC and ST candidates) in B.Ed. or its equalent recognised by Acharya Nagarjuna Univesity. The service rendered by such candidates in any educational institution recognised by Government of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible for admission. The service rendered by such candidates is the basis for admission. Service Certificate issued by conserned DEO/RJD must be enclosed.

Duration of the Course:
M.Ed (part time) course will be of duration of two academic years, each year being of 90 working days with 3 hours per day. 75% attendance is compulsory.

No. of seats & Reservation:
Total Number of seats 25. Reservation is applicable as per University rules.
Fee Particulars:
The Candidates are required to pay Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) per annum for each year and an amount of Rs.1,000/-(one thousand only) in addition to the above is to be paid at the time of admission as admission processing fee (excluding examination fee).
