About the Portal
Freedom of Expression under article 19 (1) (a) is one of the important fundamental rights which has been interpreted as impliedly guaranteeing citizens to seek for informations from the government. Democracy requires an informed citizenry and transparency of information which are vital to its functioning and also to contain corruption and to hold Governments and their instrumentalities accountable to the governed. Thus Government of India enacted the Right To Information Act with a view to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.

CIC Online facilitates online filing of RTI Complaint and Appeal with the CIC that has institutionalised the convergence of ICT with the Right to Information Act, 2005. It is a statutory policy that the recruitment of a subject teacher in a secondary school should have the concerned subject as an elective in his graduation level but in the recruitment of Urdu Teachers in Secondary Schools of Orissa this policy is blatantly violated and in whose interests?
MOULVIS,ALIMS, FAZILS,QARIS,MUFTIS etc are the qualifications awarded by the Islamic Madrasas and the medium of instruction in such courses are usually ARABIC, not URDU as is being erroneously construed and even if URDU is the medium of instruction in some Madrasas, are the syllabii so followed recognized by the Board Of Secondary Education Of Orissa?
The above qualified ALIMS,FAZILS etc have nothing to do with the URDU LITERATURE ITSELF and in fact they are alien to it but they are allowed to teach Urdu Literature without having any basic knowledge of it,degrading the standard of URDU in ODISHA.
Will the Public Information Officer of the Dept.Of School and Mass Education please clarify?
