The project involved to calculate the heat transfer rate, out let temperatures of two fluids, in counter flow heat exchanger and to analyze pressure, velocity and stream line contours. Icem-cfd for preprocessing, cfx for simulation and post processing. Solid works 2008 for creating 3d model. Heat exchangers are widely used in industrial applications (power plants, automotives, aerospace…etc)
