    Applications are invited for the post of Director General at CCRT, New Delhi to be filled up by Direct Recruitment. The details are as under: -

    Name of the Post : Director General

    Scale of pay : PB-4, Rs.37400-67000 + Rs.8700 (GP) and other allowances as applicable.

    Qualification :
    Essential : Good academic record with First Class or High & Experience Second Class Post Graduate degree in Cultural Anthropology / Ancient History / Indian Art.
    Desirable :Ph.D in any of the arts or research works in the field of Education.
    5 years experience in teaching and / or organizing of National Conferences, Seminars, etc.
    5 years experience in Administration.

    Duties and :
    (i) Head of the Organization and functions as Principal Responsibilities Executive Officer.
    (ii) Appointing and disciplinary authority in the matter relating to Group ‘B’ employees of the office.
    (iii) Member Secretary of the Society, CCRT and to take initiative for the conduct of meeting of the Society, CCRT and to prepare agenda for the meetings of Society and other Committees in accordance with the provisions contained in Rules & Regulations in CCRT.
    (iv)Responsibility for the proper administration of the affairs of the Society.
    (v) Preparation of accounts and budget of Society.
    (vi)Member Secretary of Executive Committee, CCRT, Finance Committee as well as the Building Committee, CCRT.
    (vii) Coordinate and exercise the overall supervision of academic, training, refresher, short term courses, seminars and other activities under the Society, CCRT.

    Age limit : up to 50 years
