The candidate willing to apply for Challenge Valuation and Photo Copy shall submit the application along with the internet copy of marks card as available on website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result on web to the Chairperson/Principal concerned. The Chairpersons/Principals are informed to accept the applications with internet copy of the marks card without waiting for the original marks cards up to 15 days and send the applications received from the candidates along with the applicable fee to The Special Officer, RV/Challenge Valuation Cell, Room No.203, Vishwachetan Building Pavate Nagar Dharwad within a week from the last date for submission by the applicant.

Further, Chairpersons/Principals are informed to surrender the original marks cards of those who have applied for Challenge Valuation to The Special Officer at the address given above, as and when the original marks cards are received from the University.

The Bombay legislature of the erstwhile Bombay Presidency established the Karnatak University through the Karnatak University Act 1949. It became a statutory University on 1st March 1950. The jurisdiction of the University covers Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttar Kannada districts. It has several Post Graduate centres. The university is offering courses in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Education, Law, Management, Science and Technology and Social Sciences.
